Alpha Gamma Rho is a professional Agricultural Fraternity which helps to form a common bond among members. All members that belong to the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of AGR have an agricultural major. Alpha Gamma Rho consists of a 55 to 65 member fraternity in which the majority of members live within the house.

This upcoming year we are looking for good young men who are involved in the field of Agriculture. The AGR recruitment chair spends much of the summer traveling Tennessee and visiting potential members of Alpha Gamma Rho. Housing

·        48 men can live in the house.

·        The current house was constructed in 1997.

·        The house has High Speed Wireless DSL. 

·        We recently completed renovation of our new chapter room, complete with pool table, Playstation 3, Wii and  a 65’ television.

·        The house is located less than one block from campus.

·        Our Housemother serves as “mom away from home” by helping with assignments, etiquette, or any problems that AGR members may have. 

·        10 meals a week are cooked and served by our cook.  

Expenses (2009-2010)

·        Living in the AGR house is actually cheaper than the University Dormitories. 

AGR House: Rent + 10 Meals = $585 a month. For a total of $2340 a semester.

UTM Dorms: Rent $1,195- $2,650 + 10 Meals $1,277.  For a total of $2472-$3927 a semester.
